JMP to Review European Rail Sleeper Services
JMP has been appointed by HITRANS, the Highland and Islands Transport Partnership to undertake a review of European Rail Sleeper Service operations to help inform their response to the Transport Scotland Rail2014 consultation on the future of the ScotRail Franchise.
Operating three services with a fleet of 66 carriages the Caledonian sleeper provides a key economic link between Scotland and the rest of Britain. The JMP study is looking at developments in the operation of equivalent services across Europe to identify what operational best practice might be transferable.
