Amy Denton is an Associate in the North East Business Unit with significant public sector experience working for local authorities and the Highways Agency. Amy’s recent experience has focused on policy and strategy work at both a local and sub national level, this has included development of Local Transport Plans and associated statutory assessment processes. She has also been involved in the Local Sustainable Transport Fund bidding process and a number of Major Scheme Best and Final Funding Bids.

Amy has significant experience in assessing the transport evidence base for LDFs across Yorkshire and Humber, and has worked on transport evidence bases for projects including the East of England RFA2 transport priorities; East of England regional response to DaSTS; the evidence base for One North East as part of the region’s review of its priorities; providing advice to the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Transport Board on RFA; and working with Dublin Transportation Office to develop a Transport Strategy.
