Annette is an Associate Director at JMP who specialises in working with large public and private sector organisations to reduce their travel demand.

Annette was Programme Manager for the award winning Influencing Travel Behaviour (ITB) programme for the Highways Agency from 2005 to 2011. This focused on commuter and leisure travel and included developing, implementing and monitoring over fifty Area Travel Plans at business parks (Whiteley, Cambridge Science Park, Windmill Hill), out-of-town retail centres (The Mall at Cribbs Causeway), hospitals (Northampton General Hospital), universities and colleges (Cornwall College, UWE).

Annette is an advisor to the Department for Transport, Highways Agency and Transport for London on business travel and has written guidance on ‘Smarter Working’ for the Highways Agency and ‘Alternatives to Travel’ for the Department for Transport. She advises public and private sector organisations including; Bristol City Council, Dorset County Council, Swindon Borough Council, PWC, Barclaycard and NPower on how to maximise smarter working arrangements e.g. home/remote working and tele/video and web conferencing in order to reduce business related travel and therefore save costs and reduce an organisation’s carbon footprint.
